Job Description

Job Summary:

• Using a Forklift truck to side load on to HGV trailers with a variety of multiple items.
• Understanding the balancing of loads on the forklift trucks forks' is REQUIRED!!
• Using detailed sheets to pick and prepare the products prior to loading in a weight/length order to distribute the weight and load correctly.
• Load, unload, move, stack products and materials using a forklift truck
• Ensure the forklift is safe to use prior to operating.
• Stock Take: Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that right inventory control and security are maintained.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping
• Full training will be provided by an experienced senior member of staff. - You will be provided side by side training.

PLEASE NOTE - THIS ROLE IS NOT A 100% OF THE TIME BEING ON THE TRUCK. PLEASE DO NOT APLY IS YOU WANT TO BE ON THE TRUCK ALL THE TIME.

What you'll need:

• Full FLT licence - Counterbalance is a must! We can in some cases accept in house or lapsed licences as long as you have the certificate/card
• Experience in a warehouse is desired
• Combi or 4-Way licence would make you a top priority for this position.

Hours & Pay:

• Rotational Shift Patterns: £13.88 per hour, across both shifts.
• Monday - Thursday = 6am to 2pm & Friday = 6am - 1pm
• Monday - Thursday = 2pm to 6am & Friday = 1pm - 8pm
• Overtime payable for anything over 39 hours = x 1.66

If successful you will be employed under a temp to perm contract. You will serve a 12 week probation whilst employed by Blink Recruitment. During this probation you will be monitored on timekeeping and attendance along with work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team. Once you have successfully completed the 12 weeks you will be transferred over a as a permanent employee.

Blink Recruitment operate a full in house PAYE payroll. We do not use the services of Umbrella payroll schemes. All workers accrue holiday pay per hour worked. Paid Weekly with a week in arrears.
