Job Description

Warehouse / Production Operative – Full time/Permanent – ST11 - Blythe Bridge

Assisting in the dipping department – you will possess the following essential skills

Day to Day Activities

• Correctly picking, packing, quality checking and sorting of greenhouse parts and associated products
• Locating toughened safety glass for loading on to vehicles
• Loading vehicles accurately and in a timely fashion
• Locating parts within the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing process
• Dipping products in preservative solutions
• Locating, weighing and packing small parts (e.g. nuts, bolts)
• Unloading containers and correctly locating to stock
• Preparing packages for loading and distribution
• Use of IT, including hand scanners, to manage Works Orders JM010425
• Stock control of warehouse shelves and locations
• General tidiness of the warehouse and outside yard area
• Waste management of skips and waste bins in the warehouse and outside yard
• Fork lift truck operation desirable (training provided)
• To carry out any other duties as requested by the Directors’ and/or Line Manager that are within your capability and knowledge

Shifts and pay

• Static days
• £12.28 per hour
• Temp to perm – 12-week probation.
