Job Description

Job Summary:

• Working on the production of parts and operating machinery.
• Using the grind master, linishing, finishing and inserting work.
• Bending and general assembly work.
• Experience of working with sheet metal is advantageous but not essential
• Experienced in engineering .manufacturing environments is preferred
• Experience with hands and power tools is preferred
• Any experience with CNC machining, powder coating, assembling is also welcomed.

Hours & Pay:

Day & Night Shift Patterns Available:

Days - Monday to Thursday = 07:00am - 16:00pm & Friday = 07:00am – 13:00pm

• Day Rate = £12.43 p/h to £13.05 (D.O.E)

Nights – Monday to Thursday = 19:00pm – 06:00am

• Night Rate = £16.57 p/h to £17.40 (D.O.E).

Please note - If you work nights you will be expected to complete training on days for the first 3-4 weeks until fully trained and signed off.

Overtime rate payable on days = after 39 hours (x1.33, x1.5 & x2)

Overtime rate payable on nights = after 39 hours (x1.33, x1.5 & x2) – These overtime rates are payable on the day rate as opposed to night pay rate.

Temp to perm – 12-week probation.

If successful you will be employed under a temp to perm contract. You will serve a 12 week probation whilst employed by Blink Recruitment. During this probation you will be monitored on timekeeping and attendance along with work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team.

Once you have successfully completed the 12 weeks you will be transferred over a as a permanent employee.

Blink Recruitment operate a full in house PAYE payroll. We do not use the services of Umbrella payroll schemes. All workers accrue holiday pay per hour worked. Paid Weekly with a week in arrears.
