Job Description

Working in a coating plant where you will be responsible for the Zinc coating of steel fencing components along with powder coating. This role involves heavy lifting overhead as part of a team where you will utilise overhead cranes and jigs to wire up and hang the steel component prior to coating.

We can offer day and night shifts across 2 departments.(Please specify when you apply)

Coaters Days - Monday to Thursday 06.00-16.45. Friday 06.00 - 10.30. £12.38 44.5 hrs (£28647.32).

Coaters Nights - Monday to Thursday 18.30 - 05.30 £12.89. 41hrs (27481.48).

Powder Coat Days - Monday to Wednesday 06.00-16.00 Thursday 06.00 - 15.15. Friday 06.00-13.00. £12.38 42.75hrs (£27520.74).

Powder Coaters Nights - Sunday 22.00-06.00. Monday to Thursday 20.00-06.00. £12.89 44.5hrs (£28654.47).

Overtime is paid at x 1.25 and x 1.5

If successful you will be employed under a temp to perm contract. You will serve a 12 week probation whilst employed by Blink Recruitment. During this probation you will be monitored on timekeeping and attendance along with work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team. Once you have successfully completed the 12 weeks you will be transferred over a as a permanent employee.

Full PPE is provided to all workers along with on the job training and mentorship.

Both roles will also involve additional duties around site associated to the coating processes.

Once we have verified your registration you will then be invited to our Longton office for a formal interview. Day role interviews will be at 09.30 and Night role interviews will be at 15.30.

Next steps - On site paid induction where you will complete a full Health and Safety induction along with a factory walk around. At this point your PPE will be ordered ready for your agreed start date.

Blink Recruitment operate a full in house PAYE payroll. We do not use the services of Umbrella payroll schemes. All workers accrue holiday pay per hour worked.

Paid Weekly with a week in arrears.
