Job Description

Job Summary:

• Working as part of the team, working from the main site and also on site at customers where you will be completing the following;
• Labouring work which will include, mauling of hoses, helping with test equipment and collecting of parts and stock.
• Other general labouring duties included on site too.
• Assisting engineers on an ad-hoc basis with installs on site at customers
• Working on site for customers such as schools, hospitals, sheltered house schemes etc.. (This will require you to pass a DBS check once permanent within the company).
• This role would be beneficial for anyone with experience within the mechanical, plumbing, gas or pipework industry.
• If you have a forklift licence this would be advantageous.
• Driving licence is needed so you can jump in the company van at request, if you are needing to collect or drop off parts / stock for engineers at base or on site with customers.
• There are opportunities within the business to progress and scope to the learn the gas / electrical side of the business.

Hours & Pay:

• Days = Monday to Friday = 08:00am - 16:30pm
• £12.21 - £13.50 per hour (dependant on experience)
• Overtime is paid at a premium rate x1.5 for any hours worked over the standard 8 hours a day. – Also the same overtime rate is applicable for weekend work.

If successful you will be employed under a temp to perm contract. You will serve a 12 week probation whilst employed by Blink Recruitment. During this probation you will be monitored on timekeeping and attendance along with work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team. Once you have successfully completed the 12 weeks you will be transferred over a as a permanent employee.

Blink Recruitment operate a full in house PAYE payroll. We do not use the services of Umbrella payroll schemes. All workers accrue holiday pay per hour worked. Paid Weekly with a week in arrears.

• This role will involve both work at the depot in ST3 and also some site work at customers where you will assist the engineers. (Driving licence is required).
