Production Line Assembly Operator

Job Description

• Light assembly and fitting of pre-prepared wiring
• Basic handling of components within the control panel
• Operation of an automated test system
• Packing of finished panels into boxes
• Other production / housekeeping tasks as required.
• Working as part of a team
• Being flexible to work in different departments

Personality Skills / Requirements

• Attention to detail - (Be able to read basic work instructions, complete checklists, follow safety briefings and report issues).
• Competencies - Good manual dexterity; careful, repeatable work. Basic numeracy / literacy for labels, parts lists and test records.
• Taking Pride in your Work
• Experience Using Hand and Air Tools
• Reliable/Punctual
• Health and safety conscious - Willing to follow site safety rules and wear PPE

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Friday - 07:30am - 16:00pm (30 mins unpaid break)
• £12.60 p/h start rate
• Temp to perm – 12-week probation.

If successful you will be employed under a temp to perm contract. You will serve a 12 week probation whilst employed by Blink Recruitment. During this probation you will be monitored on timekeeping and attendance along with work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team.

Once you have successfully completed the 12 weeks you will be transferred over a as a permanent employee.

Blink Recruitment operate a full in house PAYE payroll. We do not use the services of Umbrella payroll schemes. All workers accrue holiday pay per hour worked. Paid Weekly with a week in arrears.
