Job Description
We are looking for a creative, passionate, and resourceful person to lead our production team in making bold, recycled products for architectural projects worldwide. You are the link between material research and manufacturing applications. You will be at the heart of our process — shaping our approach to making, keeping production on track, improving processes, and creating an open, supportive environment for the team to thrive in.
Interviews will be taking place from week commencing 26th January 2026
Job Summary:
Production:
- Develop and manage production processes and workflows
- Manage the production schedule and resourcing to ensure that project deadlines are consistently met
- Apply a continuous improvement approach to products and production
- 0versee quality control to consistently maintain high standards
- Ensure health & safety requirements are met, communicated, and regularly reviewed
- Manage materials and stock including ordering consumables and coordinating project deliveries
- Monitor and maintain machinery and organise routine maintenance and repairs where needed
- Track and manage the production budget, providing cost analysis
- Collaborate and contribute to product development and new material investigations
- Develop samples, prototypes, and briefs for bespoke projects
People:
- Cultivate a positive, supportive, and enjoyable workshop environment
- Manage a small production team currently - people
- 0rganise regular production team meetings, s, reviews and check-ins
- Train and induct new team members
- Identify training needs and growth pathways for team members
- Help shape wider decisions about the business
- Contribute to team and management meetings. Provide regular production updates on projects and orders and wider production plans
Skills Needed:
- Experience managing a production environment.
- Experience identifying and implementing improvements in production workflows or processes.
- Experience managing a team, ideally within a small, diverse team.
- Experience working with ceramics.
- Project management experience, including managing complex production workflows and timelines.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a production environment.
