Stonecast Pottery Worker – Full time/Permanent

Working within a pottery firm in the creation of ceramic ware – you will possess the following essential skills:

  • Reliable - this is a MUST

  • Good Eyesight and Hand Dexterity
  • Health and safety conscious
  • Happy to be standing for periods of time

Day to Day Activities

  • Carefully applying a glaze to stoneware to achieve a desired design or finish
  • Applying "banding" to ware using a hand sponge and brush
  • Quality checking of all items to ensure a high standard is achieved before forwarding the ware to the next part of the production journey
  • Working to targets

Shifts and pay

  • Shift: (Days) 4 On / 4 Off - 6:00 - 18:00 - this does include weekend working. please do not apply if you cannot work weekends.
  • Payrate: £12.31 to start and £12.46 after training
  • Overtime - Available
  • permanent placement from day 1. Blink Recruitment manage this vacancy however you will be employed directly by our client from day 1.

Transport - You will need access to your own vehicle if you live on the other side of Hanley bus station from Tunstall. Public transport cannot get you to site on time if traveling from past Hanley bus station.
